Lots of happenings...
On Sat 7 July, I distinctly remember going with dear Mon-mon's group to Orchard for the cosfeast. There were a series of blunders and also, before that, I had to do flag-raising as CIP. I and Kitty set off without further ado to Bedok even though we were assigned to Tampines. There, we quickly got to work. I approached and was rejected by about 40%(That's some high odds) In the end, I and Kitty went for a break and she just widened her eyes when she lifted my heavy tin can. She wasn't the only one.
We then went to Tampines where we met with several coral students out doing CIP. There, we also slacked and went to buy drinks to quench our thirst. As it was drizzling slightly, we went under the playground for shelter and talked...alot.
Lastly, we caught the train back to Lavender and went the opposite direction of our meeting place to collect more funds. There, we ran into Shawn and Mrs Victoria Chee with her daughter. What a meeting. Of course, we(Shawn, Kitty and me) rushed up to her, tins outstreched.
Lastly, there was a long queue to return the tins. Mon-mon and her girlfriends saw me while I was still engrossed chatting. Finally, I went to change my clothes and met up with mummy(Later will elaborate) along with Kitty and Mon-mon.
In short, the trip to Orchard road was really fun. We played hide-and-seek with one another. Getting lost was also on the list as we went up and down to search for each other all because everyone was unsure of where to go from the shopping complex. End up, we followed 'mummy' all over the place. (Call mummy because Mother Hen. Dunnoe who Papa Hen is though..)
After eating and resting plus being reunited, we set off for the cosfest held outside. My only complain is can't it be in a sheltered place? I mean, with global warming and everything. Not to mention some check. Little surprise- The Minister mentor, Mr Lee, will appear there.
After a while, Kitty, mummy and me went back into the mall as it was so damn hot and boring. We went to he fountain. Then as Mummy hen fell asleep, both of us gave him the slip. Soon, the game of 'Where are the chicks?' is on. As I hastened my pace to catch up with Kitty, I received a call from Mummy as I directed him like.. " Now we at Bossini." "Got any more?" "Err.. Back to the Macdonald's and KFC."
Aww.. Mummy arrived at the exit first. Lol. And he looks really tired and angry(that's for sure) My, aren't we naughty? Finally, we went home ..
