Ngee Ann Poly's Open House

As usual, I got my parents to bring me there. So in short, it took quite awhile.

The first thing I did when I got there was to get to the convention centre. There I popped in to check things out before moving off again. I got on the bus. The plus side is that so far I have not seen any Coral students.(Cheers)

When I went to the school of life sciences, that is where things got alot more intersting. There, it's like we get to play dectective and find out how the person die. Beside the victim, there are alot of clues and our mission is to find out what killed him.( I remember that I played it before)

Here, I had a hell load of fun with students that study plants. And here's my question to them: What's the difference between them and garderners? Of course, One researches the plant the other just plants. But I called out "Garderner" until one senior guy was quite fed-up. (Haha) Another senior there said "Think of it as sophisticated garderner".... Diaos.

I then went on to design my dream garden. How fun. only it does not have swings nor leaves... I also did a little flower arts and crafts. I started out slower then the rest but due to a senior helping me while making several funny comments, I finished it rather quickly.

The life science department was... facinating! My attention first turned to the goldfishes.( They were placed in tanks labeled Male and Female. A few students showed me the difference- The tail length to the body, the colour. Of course, since they used hands to catch the fishes, I asked, "Can you catch electric eels with hands?" to hilarious results.

I moved on to see bacteria(wished I learnt Bio) and had my learnt of my glucose level and blood type.

I had a regular glucose level of 5.0(I have not yet eaten) and was type O positive. It was like a prick(The machine). At first, I did not feel the pain, only after a few seconds, then the pain settles in. Hey, at least I tried it out while others shrank back..

I also went and saw the school of Humanities. Personal favourite in child development where I saw people playing games.... Diaos. Nursing allowed me to see what to do when delivering a baby. The funny part is that the doll got stuck as one students nurse said, "I am pushing. Are you pushing my baby?" You can imagine how much I was laughing..

I also crammed a tour into the studios in the media area. It was so cool to see the place where sitcoms were filmed.

At the end of the day then I get the goody bag and waited for the free shuttle bus. However, impatient me grew fed-up and just took the SMRT bus back. (Lucky on the right route)Reached the Clementi MRT station and just got back my style.
