Camp Piak- Day 1
Got there through hitching a ride on Father's car, dragging my sleeping bag, only to find a queue there. I got in line to register and also obtain a goodie bag ticket. Finally, I was directed in to LT45 and found my seat. When it started, I found myself listening to alot of boring speeches..(diaos)
It was followed by a performance of a percussion group called the 'Baracudas'. The student mentors also entertained us to dancing with hilarious results(We later learnt the dances). The goodie bag we collected is.... another bag I which I fully utilize for my barangs(stuff).
Dismissed at 1 but I stayed for the Camp Piak II. I got sorted into Pokey with a subgroup called Hunky(Diaos). Group leader is Azman. Lols, there's also Sabastini(call her sea bass, mummy or sea monster) Then, think there's (name is...) who is so quiet. So anyone wanna guess what our siginuture move is? The answer is... always flex some muscles... Haizz.
That aside, there was alot of team games. One in particular whereby we passed a pail to each other by legs. The student leaders there drenched us with water siah.
Ehh... I also saw someone from Coral, class 4/10 de(Oh my god...Forget name but start with B)... He saw me and I nodded lols. He's in Spooky but still, same clan name Pokey de.
The most boring part is the group cheer.....
Then, by nightfall, we had an animal house, literally. We were blindfolded and then led away from our group mates. We had to regroup through animal calls agreed earlier(we were fishes..blub,blub). The SL's had a fun time, drawing our hands and legs with markers..... I kanna de...hands onli...(I wearing jeans mahx)
Then, camp songs.. Must see the SL's and OC's dance siah... Like siao.(lols...in a funny way)
Then, had our bath(ususal) then, our turn to learn the first mass dance to the song, "Witch doctor" I think... This dance is ok except the end where the girls have to spin into the guys(O well) and then out again as the guys go on their knees to propose siah.... Diaos(lols)
Afterwards, the part I really dread, nightwalk! (Cries) To think we have to watch a horror movie first before being sent out.... Oh my God! I went with another china girl(alot of international students) and two... rather 'gallent' boys.
At first, they walked in front but then, as the walk progressed, they begin pushing us in front. What the.... To be honest, throughout it, I kept screaming whenever something dropped down or we got a shock from the SL's. In fact, we were so slow that at one point, our group from 4 people became 12 people, much to the curiousity of the SL's..
There was this task whereby we had to search for a photograph in the boy's toilet which, the SL in charge claimed, was lighted. We went in and out like 3 times but each time, there was no light. In the inky darkness, someone scared us from behind.We, the girls, ran to the door,screaming and pushing the boys lahx.
Finally, we found the photo as the SL gave up and lighted the way. In the end, we were right, there wasn't light.
After an hour walking and shouting, it was nearly 4 when we went for bed... To be honest, I wasn't really sleeping at all... Not used to the sleeping bag......
