I get things done my way...

Went to do hair treatment at the saloon located in Bedok Central. What can I say? Even my paternal grandmother, recently discharged from hospital, remarked that my hair's texture was so dry that it resembled a broom (You know, the sticks one that was mainly used outdoors in the kumpung days)

At least now my hair is in a better condition.

And my mum really is a whiz in playing the Wii de. It may be a simulation game whereby the sensors read the remote control but her actions are too big and way off mark for the sensor to locate therefore, making a lot of funny moments whereby I rolled to and fro on the couch, clutching my stomach from laughing too much and too hard.

I wonder why I never seem to gain wight despite eating so much before a proper dinner. I mean, I ate 3 'goreng pisang' (banana fritters), 4 pieces of the 'kueh something' (The small brown coconut kueh with coconut shavings) as well as an egg tart. Needless to say, I couldn't complete my dinner la.

And I learnt some really cold jokes from my parents, namely my dad. It goes as this:

  1. Which animal is scared of the cold?

Obviously, any sensible human being would have 2 reactions. First is to think really hard and use logic and knowledge to solve this riddle and the latter is to think for a while, and then shut down your brain and give some random answer. Needless to say, I fall into category 1 first then 2 (Or was it a combination of both?)

And the answer is: A Duck. (Reaction: Huh? WHy?) Well, we all know how ducks quack, right? Try that in the Hokkien version which bcomes, "Gua! Gua!呱!呱!" (Literally- cold, cold)

Can anyone imagine the anime sweatdrop I had after I realised it?
