Crazy Sales In Ngee Ann
For this week, it's been very hectic. Here's the low down.
On Monday, 29th June, went to get vaccinated for the HPV (I repeat, I don't really know the long name). It's the first of 3 jabs and honestly, I was supposed to scream, right? In the end, I did not but honestly, I was able to hear my heartbeat(or forced to by the pain) and felt the needle inside my skin.
Ended up with a 2 day MC. Not bad because the doctor warned that I may develop a fever as the body will react to the jab. In the end, I never had the fever so it seemed my body wasn't that frail after all...
So I spent the next day in bed. Like real! I had to design posters for the activity to be held the next day....
What's that activity? Well...
We only managed to sell so much after our 'shift'. Opps... What to do?
Naturally, let's tuck in and begin the campaign for the 'closing down sales'.
Elijah (team leader): Closing sales. Ice cream going at 20 cents.
Our neighbours: Really ah?
Euguine: I think is a bit too...
Elijah: Forget it. Ice cream at 10 cents.
Me: Are you mad?
Elijah: Ice cream for free then.
And believe it. We have proved that not all Singaporeans are that 'kiasu'. I mean, ou fellow school mates were hesitant to get 'free' ice cream. Oh my god, that is really astonishing statistics that could be due to the fact that we appear' somewhat threatening'.
And we ourselves naturally got some free ones as well. Whahaha..
Our stall?
And the bloody 'childish' posters I had designed. Sorry if it suck. Sue me.
And then today, on the 3rd of July, I finally got back the test results for DT and MGCN. Both passed!! Not bad. Actually, for DT, I was rather resigned to just attaining a pass wen I saw I got 84%. Lols... Ok liaos la.
"That's it," resigned many classmates and me. But when the lecturer called my name on the last paper, I was like, "Huh? I passed?"
Ok, I got 63 out of 100+ like that so I was a bit sad that i could not score any higher. But thank god that I passed meaning that I do not have to go sit for the re-test that was meant for those who failed?
Whaaa.. A post that mentioned one whole week? I getting more and more lazy sia... Opps!!

You do realise that we have made our group leader a model, no?
Ta-dah!!
Just to note, our lecturer came to check on our progress and ended up buying cones for us too. Thanks for your support, Mrs Chew.
Haha... Our 'competitor' next door was selling pies and since we were neighbours (Ie, they bought our ice cream and we, their pies) we also got a free can drink in return for the FREE ice cream deals. Aww...
And after 6 hours of selling, we still had many cones left.

And the bloody 'childish' posters I had designed. Sorry if it suck. Sue me.Then on the 2nd of July, yesterday, I went to take my BTT (Basic Theory Test). Here to tell you how stupid I was then.
See, dad gave me a lift to the test center and there I was, super blur as it is. I entered the room and was figuring how to use the LCD touch screen because I haven't seen the keyboard when my neighbour helped me out by touching the screen.. Lols.. I really dumb.
In the end, I managed to fare well but I went back to double check if I missed any questions and I tapped on the "End" button and prayed silently. And Yes!!!! I Passed!!!
The real problem arise when I wanted to print out the results. I asked for help from the invigilator (an old man) and the conversation went:
Invigilator: Haha, never punch the buttons hard enough.
Me: (tapped the screen 2 times before. 3rd try) Ahh!!! (tapped with strength) it works!!

The more pro one would be MGCN. I swear, the paper literally killed me. The lecture also went, "This is those who have passed!" and the stack of papers held were like 4-5 papers and "Those who have failed," And lo and behold, around 89% of the papers.
"That's it," resigned many classmates and me. But when the lecturer called my name on the last paper, I was like, "Huh? I passed?"
