Total compilation
I haven't been updating due primarily to the lack of time and also the ‘commitments’ (ie, studying like hell for upcoming tests)...
Anyway, here’s the quick run down:
Sat 23rd- Went over to BF’s house and dine with his family
Sun 24th- Slacked at home. The usual stuff applies.
Mon 25th (yesterday) - Had a ‘innocent’ staring contest with a rude driver. Test on WSS= Just Pass= Great Joy!
Saturday was spent going over to BF’s place playing counterstrike. Erm, I have always insisted that I fare better APPRECIATING then PLAYING namely because I am not used to the keyboard controls and also because reaction and coordination is amazingly slow. Lastly also because I get tensed up too easily (or so I reckon)
Haiyo. End result is ‘practice makes perfect’ (more like 40% improvement). Got many lucky hits bahx.
That night, the area there had to burn offerings (including a huge house) for a recently deceased. As I saw the house being burnt, I was silently admiring the bonfire that rose up like some furnace fire. The ashes that this ‘volcano’ spewed out were making this scene even more lovely.
Couldn’t help but wonder about my grandfather at that particular moment. Then, it was up to BF’s families and their erm, crude jokes.
Question 1:
We Taoists (I am saying in my family’s case although most of us are freethinkers) tend to burn offerings which don’t just include gold ingots but also houses right? Then so,our loved ones will have a carefree life down there. However, what about Christians? Where do they live?
A) In a garden [Eden is a garden]
B) Rent of rooms from Budhists/ Taoists
Please pick one and justify.
Moving on to Sunday. I spent the whole day on Jan 24 slacking at home and not even studying for any upcoming tests at all. I super duper pro already. Getting lazier with each term break but, but, but...but (Dramatic tone) I still behave like小飞侠 or maybe I really need REdbull…
Yesterday had to get up and go to school again. And as usual, dad drove me to school and along the expressway, there’s this F**King driver that was also damn amusing.
What he did was that when dad tried to cut over to the left as we were leaving the expressway, this ‘sedan’ (You tell me if he behaves as though his father really owns the road) sped up and closed in the gap.
What’s more annoying is that this ‘sedan’ cut into our lane WITHOUT signalling and luckily we still had some distance. When we stopped at the junction, we were next to each other (Dad drove out of the lane) and I was like staring at him. He stared back, unflinching.
Although dad told me to ignore ID10ts like this guy, I raised my eyebrows and he copied my action as though saying, “Yea so what? I know but I am not scared of you.”
One psychological tactic needs to be countered by another and for me, I began by conversing with dad and then LAUGHING in his face while making obvious movements (pointing at him). Naturally, while I do not know if I succeeded in pissing this guy off (the lights turned green) I know that:
Then at school, the WSS test is really… well… All I can say is that I managed topass after cramming 4 chapters worth of theory in under 2 hours. Not bad la.
Today, on the 26th of January, Dad and bro picked me up from Clementi and we headed over to HarbourFront. The main reason we are there is for dad to purchase the water filter for our house.
Initially, I wanted to bring my hand phone to the service center to see what is wrong with this phone giving me THAI keyboard and stuff. But in the end, we did not go there because I surfed the web on how to do a ‘Forced Restart’ and solved the problem despite losing my contact lists as well as the applications I have downloaded… Shitty Lousy phone! Not Smart at all…
We were entitled to a ‘spin the wheel’ gift away as well as the lucky draw. The wheel was printed with the 12 Animals of the zodiac. Brother and I got Rabbit while Dad got Tiger. In the end, the Rabbit’s gifts were exchanged into the Tiger’s and we went back, carrying 3 tiger shaped pillows.
Ate Beef noodles there. And finally went to Synmarine for me to slack actually. I went crazy in the office (Either that or I think it’s considered normal) and was really bored until we could finally go home.
Haha…. More tests will be coming up. Gosh… It’s only like 2 more weeks???!!!

- I succeeded in ‘retaliation’ while maintaining a calm and ‘innocently evil’ exterior.
- I felt much better in letting BASTARDS out there know that I will not back down in a fight
- I think this guy should know that idiom, ‘Never judge a book by its cover’ after this incident.
- I learnt how to successfully maintain my composure despite seething in anger and frustration
