Break Bulk Agent
I was a break bulk agent for a day and I don't get any extra pay. I hate being cheap labour...
Break bulk agent: A person who receives the consolidated shipments and then breaks down the cargo to certain locations and customers. (My definition, please take it with a pinch of salt. Actually, take it with a pinch of sugar)
The items that came in were..;l. really meant for the ship's crew since all of them were marketing the vessel- Safmarine. But somehow, I initially thought these motion of the merchandises were meant for some events outside promotion of the vessels.
There were 10 boxes that were supposed to be sent to various countries. So anyway, I was most surprised at the country that filled the empty carton box to the brim and still needed more stuff. It wasn't even Indonesia or Thailand much to my surprise. It was.... Vietnam??! (Where's he interrobang when you need one?)
Jill: (Checking on the several list) Next, 2 speaker (the portable type)...
Me: 我可以猜是 Vietnam ba.
Jill: Yea. 2 for Vietnam.
Me: Lols.....
And one of the more memorable stuff considered cargo includes:

- Balloons- You know, we are having some party. Yea right.
(Try counting 80 of these individually) - Baby Toys- It ain't even those toys you see in stores... how can I put it, erm... well, an inflatable toy resembling a boat? (Sighs for not able to describe the toy)
- Toy- Container truck bearing the vessel name (Yea, yea lousy quality yet effective promotion)
