Previewing NDP on 14th July 2012

And like I said to my brother and BF, "I will swear off any more NDP parades unless the tickets are free (like this round)."

I got two yellow (Haizz) seat tickets courtesy of BF and so, I went there with my brother. Initially, the rain threatened to put a dent to the occasion. And like I said, "It rains on your parade huh?" to BF countless times already.

Managed to hitch a car ride all the way to marina Square because... I am a 路痴 to the max. Along the way, stopped for Burger King as I woke up at 12 that day and that was considered my brunch already.

The weather cleared up and this Kitty is so not good a friend one lol. Never tell me she going and then I never get to meet her. Aww... oh well, she's with a friend and cannot blame... different coloured seats.

Why must it be primary school kids... Dots... Well, at least the fun pack is so much better then my era over at Kallang Stadium.

Haiyo... Let's get on with the show la... I did not come here, squeezing with people and having the super 'blur' look just to sleep hor.

What.. luck? I am seated left-wing center (audience) to the stage.

Well, performance commences soon after seating.

Here comes Germit Singh ... in a hot air-balloon. Well, He was followed by Class 95's Jean Danker... Dots.

Dancing and more dancing.
\
And heart shaped kites!!!

Singapore Island on the screen... marching time..

And we have a human pyramid on a motorbike... Kids, BAhh.. you got it.

And spraks from guns!!!! Holy... I want one too.

And ....The Red Lions... Lols...

Superb landing!!! That must be fun!!!
Incoming!!!
Quite the support for National Day!! Primary school kids and the Navy marching in...

More marching.... Haizz...

 Ok...March!

Finally... a military band!!!

Erm... someone important again... I forgot?
Yes... I am getting sick of marching pictures already..

Finally, some boat action?
The passing of the flag symbolizing Fathers to Sons pretty darn well.

Mari Kita.... and I think Singaporeans know what's going on....

The Minister for Defence... He's the only minister to turn up for the rehearsal though...

Heart Attack moment... When they shoot blanks at the audience with the gun in the air.

The boat's coming in... Speedboats style.

Lols... Side view on the monitor...
Well... care for a boat ride?
And... Ear Damage. The roaring jets that swooped low enough was deafening...

The state flags!!!!

Finally, marching out after standing there like statues...

And the last few parts of the performance begins...
And a play... with a group of children...

Pyrotechnics never fail to impress me.

It started drizzling again and so, I rummaged through the fun pack, got the disposable raincoat out, instructed my brother to do the same and then... lols... Cheese.

That is the largest Japanese drum I have ever seen...

The sparkling guns are back~~~

The dance to celebrate our National flower...

This is one of my favourite shots for the night... Vanda Miss Joaquim.
Is that a volcano, oozing out a woman at the top? Hoo... boy.

The singers for the theme song this year... "Love at First Light."
  1.  Love at fist sight.. I understand but...LIGHT??!!
  2. What has that got to do with Singapore?
Let's wrap things up with ... Tah-dah!!!

I still find it ironic that the camerawoman wanted the day off and was still shooting pictures. The graphics seem to be blurry because I had to use my EVO's magnify to get those shots... I don't have digital camera on that day and my brother... is not helping me at all...

And I got a cold because of that drizzle... Sheesh... Never again....

Met with BF and whaaa... he brought 两盒 of KFC sia. That sort of became our dinner that night after we went to get bubble tea. I still like BF's answer when I ask him about eating your meals for the day.... Lols.... You so funny ah ... Wkakaa. Spammer even in food sia...
