Back from Australia

It's no joke of a holiday when one has to visit Australia and wounded up getting tired because of the several domestic flights around Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Tasmania. While innocently termed as a 'fact-finding mission', it's really that and a holiday season combined.

Throughout the 3 weeks vacation, tempers flared and the more memorable ones we had were, honestly negative ones. Come on, we even saw (assumed) native female tourist taking a piss in clear public view while we are waiting for the tram.

On the bright side, I managed to get a couple of fluffy-wuffy (LMAOS) boots and clothing to keep me warm for the incoming winter season.

I also went to their Sydney Aquarium and purchased a Dugong which I probably will call 'Gong-Gong'. Dad remarked that I probably missed Sable so much because how else, said he, will you get a toy that looks so much like her 可怜 face? Err...

On a whole, the two favorite cities I preferred was Adelaide and Launceston. Among other reasons, the friendliness of the people there are plainly obvious as compared to the snobbish Australians from Sydney whereby, as quoted by dad, "it is a crime to be poor".

The attitude of the Sydney Airport service staff was why even locals from other cities dubbed them as 'snobbish'. What more can an Asian tourist expect from the cities?

Thus, I preferred the more laid back and quaint little town of Adelaide  It's so much less busy then the large metropolis states and yet, it still gives off a relaxed and friendly vibe. The only problem when I went to check out the school of UniSA there was with the needless swarm of HOUSEFLIES.

Summer seems to be the season to attract houseflies... and skin cancer. Lols.

I like the countryside area of Launceston best. I mean besides the fact that you drive past nothing but mountains and pastures with herds of sheep, cows and horses, it is quiet. After 5 pm, there does not seem to be much to do since the shop closes at that time.

The best part of the deal is that I may wind up going there to study for 2 years. I need entertainment sia...

Even my brother was saying that the place I choose to study in is literally so ulu that after an international flight, still have to take the domestic flight and then drive in to campus. Lols. I make my life so miserable for myself.

Anyhow, I doubt much pictures will be available because well, the cameraman is almost always off duty and I tend to be in charge of the videos and even then, I am slacking a fair bit.

Thrills of the trip included driving into the mountains and having horseback riding trail and 4x4 adventures. There could have been more but due to time constraints... oh well.

And until now, I still have problems with sleeping so, I tend to try making myself tired to the max before I knock out easily and that only happens when I refuse sleep itself lol.

Throughout the trip, all of the hot drinks I ordered included nothing more the cappuccino, mocha and the best of them all, Hot Chocolate! (like one of the many things I failed in duplicating)

The thing I missed and will be missing out will be the local snacks of Singapore and Chili.

Like, even the fast food restaurants there have no garlic chilli like we do here. OMG! Buzz kill. There goes all the Samba Belachan I will be missing. The China-town is my salvation but honestly in Tasmania? Lols...

God. I hate the lion's mane of mine. Haizz... I guess I hate my weight the most bahx. Not because of anything but rather because it is frustrating that I take a long time to gain 2 kilo before it is shed off in mere weeks.
