My first round of exams for university

It's been like a month since my last update and that is because i am super lazy or that I am super busy especially since kids will know that exams always come before holidays.

And well, since I am able to blog today, it means that my exams have ended and that I am currently free... or at least until my parents come and visit me in this super cold place.

My first paper begun on the 12th of June and I had one week of study week before that.

So anyway, the first paper was for International Business Communication (IBC) and that was really just letting me go dots lol. For 3 agonizing hours, I had to answer the open book paper for 2 questions of which one was meant for a Reflective Diary. Thank god I had crapped up so much in my diary so it was still passable.

I wrote so much my hand was on fire and I still felt that I had so much to write in...

The next paper was on the 17th of June and it was Introduction to the Maritime Industry (IMI). I had 4-5 days of revising for this and for International Business Management (IBM) which was the next day and both were the close books one.

IMI was pure torture as compared to IBM for me because I found it hard to keep up with the 'practicality' of the module while IBM was a breeze as long as I understood and memorised it.

Sure enough for IMI, I fainted at the first question because I had not been paying much attention to the topic and come on, in all honesty, who the hell would remember facts and figures?

I was revived on the 2nd question onwards and I pulled through with memory and crapping with examples.

IBM was also a challenge because the first question was phrased in such a way that I could not answer it at first because I was certain the slides made no mention of it. In the end, I decided to just pull out the introduction module and toss all the stuff in.

And my last paper was Maritime Law (ML) and this one was seriously the hardest because by reading the 2nd question I was giving up on it simply because I don't have the relevant materials and that I don't think there were sufficient materials for me to use.

I spent so much time digging through the slide materials that I was writing very little in comparison to my other papers. But at the end of the day, I attempted all questions either way...

And so I am currently free from my first round of exams. Well, it wasn't that bad but it could have been better I suppose.

Haha... I guess I get to slack now... But soon I will be up and about...
