Ancient and Revival

Opps!! Neglected this space again. Well, many things have happened and well, the most normal one is that school's gonna start for next semester in 2-3 days.

Well, after relaxing for a week, my parents arrived at my school and so, my holiday sort of started. I was just being dragged around the sights of Hobart and Launceston while my parents were deciding on more of the 被骗 tourist sites they wanted to see.

I guess the worst part of the trip was that I never got to go visit MONA since dad forgot to read the fine print and was just locating the area.

The fine print that MONA museum was closed on Tuesday and will you believe that is when we went there. Mega amazing coincidence.

I guess it was also bad because I felt about 50% seasick when mum and dad opted for a cruise. I assume that I was seasick because I hated the rocking motion of the boat when it stopped to see the landscape and animals but otherwise, that sensation was gone when the boat was cruising.

I also loved the fact that we being up Mount Wellington and had to face strong winds that rendered it almost impossible to close car doors (if your car is parked slanted on the mountain) and even walk.

The bad part was that in the mayhem of the wind as I was moving back from the observation post (since at that time, dad had deemed it was enough to brave such winds), I dropped my spectacles

God, I was such a klutz and well, cannot fault me with winds roaring at least 80km/hour all the time. Dad had to get it back for me (Is that why all girls deem their fathers as their first shining knight?).I know I would...

The wind was so strong that on the way back, my old man had staggered backwards while I gripped onto the railings and pushed him from behind. Lols... and here I thought that I should be the one 被风吹走

I guess the fun part of the trip was the fact that I was intoxicated by white wine to such an extent that I was clueless that I was even drunk.

And it was much later, when I had to stagger to the hotel lobby and crouch on the ground saying, "I am seeing stars..." that I realised it.

Lols... I had no clue I was intoxicated until I went to the ladies and saw my tomato face. Lols... at least I was still sane enough for a picture.

I also got to see frost on the cars for the first time. So being the 笨蛋 that we are, we had no idea how to clear the frost from the windshield.

I tried using a tissue to scrape them off when another hotel occupant started using the card key of the hotel to scrape the ice off
That was quick. Lols...

Tasmanian Devils are so adorable!!! I wanted to hug one but I don't think that is even safe to begin with lols.

I guess that overall, the trip was wonderful if not for my waking up at night. I just noted that the frequency of my waking up has increased ever since it was winter. Crap... not amusing.

Getting my results back was good. I had even sort of expected to fail in one of it and not fare as well for another but I was surprised to see that I had managed to obtain a pass for that which I dreaded.

Thank the heavens because I am the type that is not too good in subjects that requires a certain amount of practical application... which may account for my failure in subjects like Maths and Physics...
