Belated Birhday Bash
And it was a belated birthday bash for our dear class rep, Jasmine that we celebrated for an hour at Pines Cafe yesterday 28 May.
When we got there, it was all good until we had to seat down. Finally, we settled down with the borthday girl in front of me sia. Then, I took the menu and ordered the cheapest dish there- Seafood Hor fun at $3.50 and a cup of hot milo at $1.50. I must admit that I never expected such a large serving though.
Anyhow, it was all jokes and gossips at the girls table(Need I say?) while the small(with only 5-8 boys) group of guys sat at another table behind us and begun to order food first.
After the meal. the birthday girl kept demanding for her cake while Kelly, sitting on her right chided her for being so demanding and wanted her to buy her own cake. "How about this, I pick the cake, you guys pay?" Jasmine asked as the girls all went, "No lols."
Then, the mastermind, basically the gang of girls I typically would not hang out with, handed a box uses to package the cake to Jasmine. She immediately opened it and frowning, she tossed the empty box back to Su Shan as we all laughed.
Then, the cake arrived as Su shan went, "She say she don't want the cake. Keep it." Jasmine quickly chimed in, "My cake!" Isn't our class rep cute?
In the end, I had my reservations on eating he cake. Firstly, the not so important reason is that the I was quite full and next, was that Jasminee and Clive had practically 'murdered' the cake.
Jasmine had counted the candles to our laughter as someone went, "You don't trust us ah?" Next, thing is that she ended up trying to cut the sticky, creamy chocolate cake. It ended up looking... horrible. Clive came in and tried to help as well. Instead, with each cut of the cake, it was getting more and more ruined. Ah well, as they put it, art.
It ain't free either, we all had to pay $1.80 for the ruined slices... Diaos.
Finally, we parted ways at the front of Block 72, MySpace area. Afterwards, we got back the QLA test paper. I was relieved to see I had pass it (Not much calculations) with 34/50. Lousy huh? I found out that I got 12/20 for....*Drum rolls* MCQ!
Ah well, at least I was able to caculate the EMV(expected montary value) and do the APP table-thing. Hahas... Not bad, not bad.
Today, at COMT lessons, I am practically blogging as I have nothing to do. As usual, the freezing cold air is hindering my typing speed and accurancy.
Oh yea. I also learnt that my Lee E, from our class, actually scored 5 points to come here from Malaysia and I went blank. No way! Such a dilligent student who ends up in my class... err... The only good thing is that I can rely on her for help especially in ASTATS..
Then also learn that Da Jie is another Capricorn (I seem to find friends who are older and mostly earth signs). Wait, I can relate to fate here... No wonder I mature fast.
Well, *Consults list of names* Fawn?! My future daughter will really be a laughing stock here. No seriously, I wonder... Don't the names , "Serenity", "Kendrick", "Drake" and "Romeo" strike me as.... Literature and Story??(Kitty, you may be laughing and going, 'oooo')
