Going to be late?
Never, ever trust people when they say they will be late. That's the moral I learnt today. What irony- The one who lives the furthest away from school gets there the earliest. (anime sweatdrop)
Met up with Jasmine, Everlyn and Zhang Meng to to do the ITL project. Although, Jasmine's reaction to my hairstyle was like, (Using her hands to mime scissors cutting off her hair) So cute. Even though it's acknowledged that it's holiday for us but still, students were seen filling up the library seats or booking rooms to do their projects.
We just found a seat and got down to doing the task before doing our individual research. To be honest, it wasn't that we could not understand the question, it was more like, the question being phrased out with a lot of Logistics term and that handicapped us. That is, until we source through the dictionary then we understand it.
The whole question was, "International Multi-modal transport and the different roles performed by freight forwarders in international freight forwarding, freight forwarding documents in sea and air shipments, and terminal import & export operations in consignment by air. "
Wahh... sians. Learnt one thing though, consignments mean cargo. I was like, "Why can't they just use cargo?" Everlyn went," Testing our Logistics Vocab?"
In the end, it was settled relatively fast because Jasmine had friends from another Logistics batch (Class 02 or 01) to send her their project files. It turns out, that they were also doing this question too. What a stroke of luck. So now, what else, look through it and modify it is the way out for us.
Less then a week left before the start of a stressing school year... Well, I look forward and dread it, man.
