Afterwards, headed over to Marina Bay (春到河畔) and I did not get to go for the rides and it was damn crowded sia.
So not funny to '撞' into '财神爷' at the temple we always go to for our yearly prayers. Mum was like commenting on how this guy dressed up as a 'God of Fortune' was standing at the mouth of the road where cars drive in and it's dangerous to do so.
That is when smark aleck me went, "老妈, like that just pray we all don't 撞 into the 财神爷 like that (literally meaning car accident and not bumping into the god himeself)
Dad: This year all the 财神爷 like very young.
Mum: Of course la. 财神爷 also have many 徒弟 one lei. Because if not later he cry, "Very busy lahx!"
(Now people know why I so lame sometimes too..)
Hmm... Moving on to the first day of the new year. Went over to visit the usual bunch of relatives before taking off to the maternal side just to eat the usual buffet and getting the usual red packets.
Finally changed out of the 旗袍 that was rather diaos and into something more fitting at my grandmum's house.
Gambled there and lost havily in the first round. Wkakaka. No luck and the loss acumulates up to $30. Haizz... Easy come easy go logic.
2nd round of BJ took place in the main bedroom after some food. Played for a long time until mum remarked how freaking cold I am to touch (I tend to lose heat) and went to get me a blanket to cover up my legs as well as my winnings.
Finally, when I went to get a drink, mum 'accidentally' took the towel and was 'stunned' to see several purple notes raining down on her. I was trying hard to swallow my drink and act all innocent about my winnings when small 姨婆 went, "Haiyo ah. Ah girl so clever ah? Hide all the money away huh?"
What? Even if I won, I won so little because I was playing 2 bucks only.
Not bad because when the round ended, I won 12 bucks after returning the $30 to mum. (All in $2). Amazing luck shift huh?

The 2nd day went over to 大姨婆(maternal side) after all of us have woken up by 1 plus like that. Naturally did more gambling and lost all $12 so I was back to where I started. Hmm... went out to have Korean dinner and I must say one thing about it: I am NOT 吃素 one lei.
Finally realised that majority of the food is made up of veggies... Diaos.... and of all places, why did we have to sit on the floor like the Japanese themed one? Grr! I wearing dress somemore.
Throughout the meal, I was sitting in a 'kneeling' position and was rather afraid of the steamboat's fire that just flashes up whenever I want to take a bite. I really super diaos....
Last day of the new year, I stayed at home and relatives and friends visted instead. So noisy but it works while I study abit de la.
Hmm........ FPD and WSS is super confirm die already. Need to Chiong ah!!
