Summary also seems long post

First off, 恭喜发财，红包一个来！！As I am recording my entry, it is the 5th day of the lunar month. So I have been too engrossed into the season that I have not updated my blog and so... I think  this going to be a long post... which I may split into 2 parts... or not (lazy)

On the 1st and 2nd of Feb, had reunion dinners with both sides of the family. We did the usual thing which was whereby us, the bored kids will eventually be taken to the temple to pray after the dinner. Can you imagine that I was so bored that I engaged in the ipad (Pearl Lee, my cousin) with a cousin like 13 years younger then me with the 'Truth or Dare' 我太无聊了.

The ball starts rolling on the 3rd of February whereby we first went to visit our relatives on my paternal side. Had to hear them lament about their son's stupid actions. It just seems like the whole issue revolved around a china mistress that destroyed the family again. Sheesh, just when is this ever going to stop. And the script goes on that of course, he had children but.... he just 'abandoned' them.

Anyway, moved on over to my maternal grandparent's place for a buffet lunch after dropping off grandmother. And as usual, greeted all my relatives there and had the catered lunch while gathering more 红包's.

Took awhile and then I was back at my 婆婆's place gambling with Josh (only a boy and already, having a super lucky hand in games). Initially, I got my $10 capital from mum and pretty soon, my luck was pretty much a roller coaster ride but thankfully, I got a tidy profit from it.

I think I cannot forget this new year because... they got trapped in an air conditioned room and the door knob had to be dismantled to 'save them'.

What happened was that somehow or rather, due to the repeated slamming of the guest room door by kids, the catch and lock of the knob became stuck thus trapping, Josh and Phoebe and their mother as well as my brother. I was out of the room and just enjoyed 'watching' the drama because I was busy playing mum's iphone that was charging in my uncle's room.

Eventually they are rescued but still, what a way to start the new year...

On the 2nd day of the lunar new year (4th Feb), went over to 大姨婆's place on my maternal side, get more 红包's and of course the usual gambling with my tidy profit dipping down a little. Guess I don't have that much luck on that day... 

Then on the 5th Feb (正月三), went over to my BF's place to just 'collect' more 红包's only. I feel quite diaos actually. The amount tallied up to $28 lei. DOTS... Mega dots since I can just use the $$ on the things I want... I guess... One of the more unproductive and slackable days ah.

Finally, on the 6th Feb (正月四), this time, guests came over to my house. And thus, another round of Blackjack begins with 'rich' Uncle Kenji. This time, I decided to use $2. But in the end of the day, I think luck's on my side.

Had to entertain the guests and got to snack as well. I can say I am not a very good entertainer once my mind is distracted by the telly. Lols. Some good shows are on.

Overall, this year is rather ok since I managed to win erm... around $58 this year. Well, you win some you lose some. This year is also not good because:

• I got into trouble and received sound scolding on New Year's period over a trivial issue
• I was struck by ulcer and runny nose
• CNY was NEVER a REAL HOLIDAY

Hahahaha.... The 3rd point must be echoed by my poly mates I am certain.

We all seem to have so many things to do just when we are all in holiday 'mode' plus the exams are also caving in. This is just stressful and yet, I don't mind.

And for yesterday the 8th of February, I stayed back in school with Everlyn and Huey Leng to finish our CL project which was a video with several silly moments due to our acting. It was so dumb that even I had a hard time keeping a straight face while acting.

While I am at it, am I really going to have to be a teacher?
