Ahh... sians lately

Yesterday on the 15 March, I was woken up (after another bout of my restless sleep) rather early to go to the family office. On the way there, Dad decided to drop by the driving school to allow enquiries for me and bro to learn driving since it was something of a 'life skill' plus the fact that I had already started on it a while back...

The outcome is that I was the one who went ahead to ask all the questions since bro could not asked and mum got pissed off by the service counter and later ranted in the car something along the lines of "That woman, so arrogant. You see I never talk to her already just let ah girl ask her only. What is this f**king attitude man?"

I guess it meant that I am not enrolling in the driving school then. LOLS.

Afterwards, went over to see the potential new car that the family has been trying to 'downgrade' to since the step wagon has been decided to have 'excessive capacity' for the family. In the end, I was 'forced' (yes forced because I never liked cars nor computers and Maths) to check out the BMW car. Great.

What really caught my attention was the Sports car edition of the BMW range that combines lifestyle and performance in one. The only drawback to the car was that it is not practical in Singapore unless you have cash to burn.

Finally went to the office (considering the short distance) and typed out a sample Letter of Appointment in another software as dad had not installed Microsoft Words for certain computers. Mum... really fares off much worse then me in terms of computer knowledge. And god forbid that I know next to nuts about computers.

Finally, arrived for my maternal grandfather's birthday dinner way too early. Even after walking around the area, we realised that only his brothers arrived (小叔公 and  三叔公, all pronounced in Hokkien). And then the stubborn grandfather of mine messed up on the bookings again. Stubborn old mule.

Finally, one by one, the whole family gathered and finally we get to eat! Boy was I famished!!

We ate until it was clear that we were all bloated but still, 还有螃蟹和馒头!Oh my god. I was seriously stuffed to managed another bite already.

During the meal, there were many jokes and info hinting (especially from my ex-lecturer).
Seeing as he was able to eat the crab,
Dad: 加油!加油! (And so on...)
Me: 加油!加油! (And so on...)
Uncle Dickson : The epic face while feasting on the crab!
Josh: 加油!加油! (And so on...)

And he also like damn casually went, "Is PM really that hard a module?"
Me: (Feasting on venison meat) Well, you mean Purchasing Module ah?
Uncle: (nods head)
Me: Err... personal experience. Since the first lesson when I had no idea what the lecturer was saying, I have never paid attention in class since. Why?
Mum: That face that went , "You never listen in class??!!"
Uncle: Well, it seems someone resorted to cheating.
Me: Ehh?? Really? 一定是中国人。
Uncle: Yea. He fared pretty badly too. Also, I hear that *clever classmate's name* also did not fare that well.
Me: Wait! if he cannot fare well then that means I die already lei... Wha lao.

After the meal, hung around the area to chat and to get teased by the grand-uncles. Wkakaka. I must say I do most of the teasing lol. Despite my fractured (literally) Hokkien, I think I was still able to grasp the situation mostly, well mostly lei.

Stupid weather. I am feeling cold enough as it is. God damn it. Compounding to my problems again..
