First Paper for Law, Guess I need to reconsider...

The paper today is... A killer. Yes I know that this is an overrated word used to describe all papers in the examination hall but this time round even I felt really disheartened after the papers.

I got to Expo Hall 8 by hitching a ride in my family's car and by then, it was swarming with examinees already. Most of them were doing last minute revision there an I just went to check out my seat number and gathered around classmates.

Seeing Mr Johnny and Miss Thavem was only getting us more nervous especially when we have to take the exam soon. Having them wish you luck outside the hall was even more nerve wrecking when you are probably thinking, "Yea, I need all the luck I can get to pull through this."


My god, upon locating my seat, I gathered back the nostalgia feeling that I had back then in a polytechnic exam, except that this place seemed to magnify the feeling by 2 at least. The venue was damn big and already, there was a sea of tables and chairs.

The main thing was that the exam had to be delay like 10 minutes because hey guess what? The MRT trains broke down... Again! Faith in the best transport system... shattered, utterly shattered.

The thing is my pace of doing the paper is somewhat like this:

• Finally flips over the paper after filling in details.
• Within 15 minutes, gets stumped by the first 4 questions.
• Question 1
• What the hell is going on??!! I cannot afford to write more then 2 pages on this.
• Question 2
• I understand the question but honestly, I don't have the in depth knowledge to do this
• Question 3
• What the hell does this question want?
• Question 4
• Holy crap. Asked me a question when I have not studied for it? I die la.
• Does the remaining questions sticking to 45 minutes timeframe
• Can feel that in the middle of the paper
• Slowed the pace of writing
• Got stuck and had to keep thinking about phrasing it
• Felt light-headed such that I had to wake up to reality
• Times up! Finish writing last statement. Set to work tying the answer booklet. 

All the words seemed pretty negative too... Holy...

My verdict? The paper seemed to be so easy yet so damn difficult. It's like I understand the problem questions but the question presents a twist that I had to rack my brains on answering. Also, the format seemed a little different from the previous years as it included too much sub-sections to a question. What the hell is happening now?

I can hardly write much on the given topic because is like the sub sections overlap and certain cases have to be repeated which I think, would have eaten up much more time and is a hassle to repeat that I did not add those in... God, if I can pass the Criminal Law paper, then it truly is a miracle sia.

Even my course mates are stuck at the question and more or less, everyone is praying for a miracle right now. I hope the last 3 papers aren't in that method or all I can keep saying is that I am screwed.
