Finally, today, I need not go visit my relatives de...Yes! *jumps high into the air*
I dunnoe.. maybe as you grow older, u realise that many traditions can and were meant to broken while others still remain. For me, not being in the festive season already shows my change. Although, I still get to receive red packets, I feel like I don't need them anymore and would rather give them to the needy.
This year, I felt like breaking out of this tradition and wanting to do something more fun. But, I dunnoe what I should do. Funny, but I feel really restless and confined.I dunnoe why either..
Well, the 2nd day of the lunur month,which happens to be yesterday, saw me visiting relatives on my mother's side. There were so many small children there.. And I and my brother were like the eldest..Help! So aniway, I met Old uncle-haizz...lots of uncles and aunties-. He's really funny and seemed amused at my 'cute' reply and antics. He cannot believe Iam a girl. When my father laments that Iam a naughty girl, he nods and say,"She's not naughty. She's just bubbly and full of energy as compared to her brother." And I was all..Yeppie!!
Other relatives came and were like "How old are you now?" and when I said 16, they all went, "Study hard for O levels de..." I think the worse part was when I was introduced to them for the first time after a year. They went, " So pretty liao..Got boyfriends?" I went "No lahx!'
Oh yea, I was also bullied by the two tyrants named Josh Lim the fighter and Phoebe Lim the gentle advisor. Wahh..Josh is the one who was tackling me to the corner and even becoming my personal hairdresser. Oh my... Lucky, I was all no problem with him. He can get really rough..but, that's what all boys do mahx..He's also my amusement too..
By nightfall, I learnt that my cousin-older by a year- got her O levels back. She received 15 points with 3 A's. I was all..."Wahh" O yea. I also asked my grandmother which day of the lunur month I am born in..Her reply is.." I think it's the 8 or 9 day. Cannot remember. Only remember that after seeing you, we all went out to offer incense to Jade emperor"..Wow...
My uncle, is sick due to viral infection...O yea..I hope this ends soon de..I heard that the year of the Boar is really unlucky for those born in the year of the Goat...What the...
