Actually being 放鸽子
The Chinese words seem too small(Or is it?)... It means to' Free the pigeons', literally. Ok la. It means to be stood up in a situation- example would be in a date when one party does not turn up at all. And that's what happened to me and 3 other girls.
Oh no, we are not stood up by boys (Like that will ever happen), on the country, we are stood up by our CATS lecturer. I mean it.
What happened was that one of my group member, Gui Fen, had already contacted Mr Chan about us presenting today (Stupid really. Mr Chan insisted for us to finish presenting before this Thursday) and he had agreed to it.
I still had Maths remedial and was a little late meeting up with them however, it turned out that Gui Fen and Jessica could not contact him at all. His ring tone was that stupid song from the advertisement of M1,"We can all be friends"
We waited at the front of the IS office for 30 minutes only to be told that he , 'went off already' after informing the administrative staff. Why do we even wait? Cecilia was spot on when she quipped,"I scared that he already forgot and went home"
All the while after that, Jessica was like, "I have to claim a day's salary and cab fare from him sia." Lols... For me, it was no big deal, despite me missing my ride home and reaching Simei at around 8 de. I am just wondering about what will happen on Thursday when we meet him sia...
After all, how can a handsome 51 year old leave 4 ladies waiting for him hmm? (Very sarcastic tone)
And I was damn bored on the ride back namely because my only entertainment- listening tothe radio, was also taken from me. Stating thus, I had little choice and so, I turned to people watching.
So bored, putting in some quiz results.
