Some office fun things
A few days back I was reading through some of the old, dusty books and files. When I say books and files, I mean literally thicker then Harry Potter's novel. So anyway, I was partly bored and needed information.
Much to my shock when I opened the book known as the Air Cargo Tariff Manual (it was like 2 years ago one). A silverfish moved across the page and somehow fell below the desk just as I was reeling from surprise. I quickly scanned the area but could not spot the silverfish. (Why call it a fish when it's not even related to insects nor its diet?)
Silverfish is also quite wise. Well, simply because it is only found in books and not all over the place like other insects. Also, it favours ancient and dusty books meaning that it 'acquires' knowledge of the past....
Then today. the 6th May, the IT guy came over from the main office to check on all the faulty machines in the office, including my desktop PC. Finally. it gets to be quicker after a few tweaks as my colleague had earlier remarked that it was too slow even by their PC standards.
Oh my god, I had such a tortoise for a computer? No wonder keeps crashing and hanging on me la. It's a miracle that I did not kill it as I had assumed all the office computers to be of this speed as well. Really is diaos of me.
Had so much to think about how I have been changing as of my last what? 4-6 years? Last time was somewhat surreal considering that I was so damn aloof.. Lols. Hmm... why did I change again? Strange, there's no reason.
Hmm... got so many dreams at night and yet wake up to just forget them.... Sian lahx.
