What's so great about a circle?

Let's see...

Yesterday, the 7th May, I still had to do paperwork cum data entry and soon, it was lunch time. I volunteered to walk quite a distance to another canteen at SATS Terminal 5 (We do have a canteen in the neighbouring block, Block D. But honestly, the food variety was... well, limited.)

And so, I generally walked 15 minutes there while seemingly 'stroll-basking' under the scorching hot sun of Singapore. This day however, I was only crossing the road when I spotted a 大叔 from our contracted  warehousing and transportation provider gesturing very clearly for me to ride in the truck.

I obliged and ran across th road (looking out both ways and not literally) and hitched a ride all the way there as the Uncle was also delivering the goods there. Lols. A truck... and I was a 笨蛋 when it comes to the getting on the ride as it was so different and difficult- The height was so different from a car's...

I was so stupid to try something new. I actually tried the much anticipated 'Circle Line' to get to Dhobby Ghaut and all I had for it was... God damn complains to the max!!

Estimated time to get past all 7 stops was indicated as 16 minutes approximately but I times it at least 25 minutes and why? Well, surely not because:
  1. The train, despite being so new and polished, was travelling at a somewhat slower speed then the other trains.
  2. And out of the 7 stops, 3 of them had to be time wasting. By right, the door will close after a few seconds but oh no, the train door did not budge and was like it suffered from a system crash or something before finally closing the door in 1 minute.
So in short. so much for the circle line. I will not take it unless I really have any compelling reason. I shall be faithfully sticking to the East-West line. I am so sorry I have taken you for granted in the past... So sorry.

And then.... a funny enrichment class to to top off the night.

Hmm... oh well, that will be all for now ba
