My life in SG!!
The best thing is that one will always want to kick back and enjoy the weekends however, one will always be agonized over going to which location in Singapore. I mean come on, having being stuck on this 'red dot' for 21 years, at least 80% of the island has been explored. And so, here comes the best agony ever: Where does one go to relax in Singapore?
It's like... being stuck in an urban and tiny place without anything new or fun at all. At least in other countries with states, one could always have a short break by driving or flying to another state for a break. In Singapore? Well, who wants to go over to the high crime rate Malaysia?
OMG... there's like almost nothing to quell the boredom in Singapore unless one is into the computer games. It's like... a cybertronic city for entertainment. There's hardly any physical activity that could be done due to the lack of the land. I feel like I am really born into the wrong country in terms of growing up with a healthy hobby-- I have none because gaming is out of the question.
So anyhow, starting off with yesterday on the 2nd of September, went out with BF to Changi City Point to just walk around... which somehow ended up into an arcade trip with both of us being ear-raped by a machine.
The very frequency of the machine is high enough. Now, let's have a card that somehow triggers an attack in which there's the high, shrill cry of a bird, a phoenix, and then... needless to say, our ears literally suffered from the 'cries of the phoenix'. God... why in the hell... do I have to play such things nia?
The area also had a sale of toys and I explored all the old game models and well, I kinda wanted to purchase another dragon figurine. However, in the end I did not because simply I have no space to display it and of course, it is considered to be another thing to take into consideration in the future for house moving.
Anyhow, after that went over to EXPO and lo and Behold, we see the advertisement board for CHC churchgoers to attend church.
Really, what the hell is this? How can the government allow such a cult to keep surviving in Singapore? It just brings me to laugh and sigh in Christians and their so-called 'faith'.
Well, there's also the race-car event that received widespread publicity from the media. So, we went in to look at some of the cars that were built and designed. Got amazed at quite a few for their innovations and also laughed at quite a few, especially one car with 僵尸-like design and the entire car was one reminiscence of a coffin lol.
I was more impressed with a tiny car- like a kid's tricycle though. Which adult is going to ride that ah?
And that was about it bahx.
Then today, was another acrade day as BF and me went over to Tampines having quite a tough time to decide what to eat for lunch and tea. Then in Tampines Mall, had an eye candy with 2 male hunky advertisers. They bared their top and their 6 packs seemed to be well defined and toned. I was like... "Woah!! Eye candy!! Nice!"
Anyway, decided, after a super long time, to eat roti prata at the basement floor. All I can say is that it was rather not worth the time nor money to patronize the store unless you came for the drinks because it had all the super bad services that are taboo to the service industry.
- Cashier was rather uninterested when we were placing our orders and was like, still chatting to a colleague before informing what was not available.
- Then, there was a super long wait. It's like... what? 45 minutes later the food arrives?
- Gives the phrase 旧等 a very literal meaning.
- Price is not worth it. $6 for mutton. And what was given is... 3 pieces of mutton and loads of gravy....
- What kind of goat is so exquisite in taste that it is like a caviar pricing and serving?
- And the best irony of all... the customer ordering after us had the food first...
- Yep. This is what all diners cannot stand what.
So now, I am watching as my computer tries to download the games so as to ease my boredom lols. OMG... I simply do not have much of a life sia.
