Happy Belated Wishes to Josh Lim
Now I know what it is like as a kid when I used to like having birthday parties and of course, presents. Anyway, I returned to Grandma's place at about 1 plus, with my lessons ending at 12.
Firstly, This term started a new module(or subject) know as Individual and the community or IAC. The lesson was really boring and the only fun part was when we had to do this personality quiz. I was ENFP...(Well, I wasn't so sure because another assessment stated that I was 50% introverted and extroverted)
And guess what the ideal career is for my personality type? It really is tied with my character and goal. It is Journalism. Oh my god then why I end up in business course? The lecturer had stated that our courses are tied to our personality type afterall.
Anyway, I went to celebrate my cousin's 7th birthday.(Lols... 10 years age difference) The dinner got a new name as 'The Banquet'. It was really scrumptious. Although there was abalone cooked with vegetables, I hankered after the vegetables first... This is 'Good quality' ma...
My cousin had a PSP. Uncle was in charge of helping him to download new games while Josh and Phoebe were both fascinated by the camera on the laptop as well as it's various effects. We took alot of distorted and heinous photos. Uncle was really not a good sport! He did not want to take the photos.
Anyway, I also jumped on the trampoline. Bro was the pro- He literally stumbled off the trampoline. I later remarked to Uncle Dickson that he's ensuring the safety of the wrong person(See, Gramps got onto a chair and he was there to support him)
Lols... It's not nice to make me pit my strength against a guy la. Especially when it's known as a play fight. I got pushed off the sofa-Come on, My arm never had the strength ma.
Then, moving on to today's anticipated event, we have the presentation of our team. And I was like, "How to start?" In the end, I took the cue from Mr Egg tart who was complaining about the delay and when, finally set up, I went, "Good morning. Sorry for the delay. I am the presenter of Group B. My name is Vivian and these are my team mates-"
As the presentation went on, I was actually shaking with nervousness but managed to pull it off as Mr Egg tart went, "The presenter could score higher as she appears more confident". This Mr Egg tart, he cornered poor Clive into a corner. Lucky for me, I directed it easily.
When it's time for our panel of bosses to enquire. I could not hear the soft spoken Kelly and I was like like, "Err..." Mr Egg tart kept up the pressure by asking me to "Rephrase the question" seriously many times.
Kelly's Question was:What happens when a customer requests for more than 1 service and yet, have not paid since the first service?
My Answer: The department will use e-mail to inform the customers about their credit limit. Overtime, if the e-mails are ignored, we will cancel the transaction and write it off as loss."
Explanation: Write off means to take it as a loss. Usually, we write off bad debts, name implies, debts that cannot be recovered as the owner is bankrupt or dead
Kelly's next question was: How do you deal with road taxes?
My answer(with hint from Clive): Basically, the drivers will be issued a cash card. The Accounting and Finance Department will budget the amount to top-up the card by petty cash.(Petty cash is a small amount of money handled by the chief accountant to maintain the company's day to day expenses)
Of course, don't take it word for word. I mean, I had to improvise then so I may go, "Err, hmm...Then err.." Just take the answers and questions to be rephrased thoroughly.
I know that our group may not score high on the presentation but at least, we tried our best!
Also, I had to ask Team A's presenter the questions:

Also, I had to ask Team A's presenter the questions:
- How do you plan to avoid inconsistency when there is lack of ERP system?
- How to inform customers that their credit limit is due without damaging goodwill of the company?
Come on la. Which part is too profound or as the boys go, 'chim' ? I just rephrased the question to a high level that tests the English power of peers.
Alright for those who are new to POA or now, BF. ERP there means Enterprise Resource Planning or simply known as the integrated system. Credit limit is the amount by which a customers don't have to pay by cash. Goodwill is an intangible asset that gives the company it's good reputation.
Wow. I suddenly realised that POA is retained in my head and I just use them so naturally. Of course, that is only the theory part.
