I only received my Applied Statistics test yesterday and I have failed it. (cries) Ok, no use moping around though, I did admit that I was never that good in that subject though. Now I just have to work harder on this subject.
Anyway, that setback is rather familiar ba. (Secondary school and failure of maths and all) I really don't think that, 'The larger the amount of time you put into your revision, the better your results' theory. I think it's more of 'study smart' theory.
Along the way to block 47, I chance upon Uncle!(Hey, I dun call him that though). He enquired about family matters, namely on my brother's condition, before going home. Me? I was just stunned because, I never chance upon alot of lecturers until that day.
So anyhow, I went to meet up with the Statistics lecturer who taught me on what missed out when I did not turn up for school that day. I somewhat understood the formulas but... the questions..
Oh yea. I happen to see my Business Finance lecturer going off from work while I was being tutored(And to think I have to meet him today)
Then, she offered to drive me to Macpherson whereby I could take bus 65 and bus 8 to Tampines interchange. In her car, there was alot of talking going on. She is such an optimistic person, laughing away and all. Such a devote Christian too- while saying I was a rather 'thought provoking' girl.
Chuckling, I told her that I wasn't well-informed, just more understanding of the world.
Since bus 65 came along, I hopped onto it and then by luck, I saw bus 5 turning in from another route. As I was unsure if Bus 5 would follow the same route as bus 65, I stayed on the bus until I found a stop I was sure bus 5 would stop and alighted and caught bus 5 home.
All the time, I was trying to remember what I had learnt for yesterday.
Eh, I passed my Business Finance paper.(smiles in relief) All I can say is, it's not that fantastic either. (Blank look on the marks) At least I pass ma.
