Recap of the thrills and spills

I went cycling yesterday on the 29th of June. Finally, a family outing I can relate to although, it's been years since I was on the bike.

Anyhow, since we decided to go around 4 plus. We first set up and played the Nintendo Wii(Yep). I looked through the games my dad bought and finally decided to play the 'House of the Dead 2 and 3'. It was... thrilling and I was hooked on it.

Whahaha. The training with mon-mon paid off(I could shoot fast). I used the controller(The remote like thing. The movements are detected by the sensor) easily as though I was really wielding a gun again. Dad wanted to buy the additional equipment to make the controller resemble the gun but I find it really pointless.

First time I played it with mum and she was like, "Ahh, where's my arrow(or target)? Vivian, Where de?" All this while, I was killing off the zombies and having doing the anime sweatdrop. I swear that I never like the first boss in the 'House of Dead 2'. I mean, if I were to compare it with Vampire Night, I would liken that boss to that blasted mad scientist and his bird-like form.

Only this time, his voice is really...high pitched and damn irritating. To think he also had the same weak spot as the scientist- Literally killing the him by aiming at his body. Damn it, he's so small and fast sia... Same problem as the mad scientist. When we(became my dad and me) downed him, I was damn jubilant up to the point whereby even my dad was stunned.

And the best part is, 90% of the time, the other player got killed off first making me the sole survivor until the 3rd boss- I nicknamed the Hydra.

Then yesterday, I and my mum(who also adored shooting games) both went ahead into the 3rd installment of the package. This time round, it was better as the zombies were harder to kill but this time, it was bad as the reload button meant that the characters really reloaded their guns(we saw the guns and shells dropping out). This is really long because, in boss battles, we are as good as gone.

Ironically, the first boss there- a security guard troll- had his head/face as the weak spot. Damn it.

Anyway, come 4 plus, we headed to Pasir Ris Park for cycling. It was good although, I had a shaky start, I soon got used to it. The horses/ponies were so adorable. I went, "Aww..."

My legs ache now namely because I had strained my muscles... Great!
