Time out for Friends...
Yesterday on the 4 August, I met up with Kitty to go to Bugis and then later,Changi Airport.
Met her in Tampines and did I mention I was wearing a skirt? I was rather uncomfortable with the length of it when I sat down. Other then that, I have no comments whatsoever. And she commented that I looked like an 'Ah Lian'? How can that be possible? I am still me.
On the MRT, like what little mei said, it was all chatting about our school lives. I was like, amazed to see her looking like her chirpy, old self. She does not seem affected by the incident at all.
So, we went to random shops at Bugis to find mei's formal wear but to no avail. Along the way, I realised that I forgotten to bring extra clothes or else, I could have played at the fountain. We also bought Sundaes, One chocolate and strawberry each. I led her walking randomly until the National Library.
It appears to have paintings themed, "Our Heritage and Culture" all lined up to form the maze. The only painting which caught my eye was the painting of the phoenix which seemed to mean, "Rebirth of a nation from the flames" Incidentally, the painting at the back of the transparent canvas also held a painting of buildings to fit into the theme.
Did I mention that we also ran into Ryna(Class 4/10) from Nayang JC now. She wanted Jacqueline to take the photos. At first, I thought that she looked familiar that is, until she went, "My secondary school mates", in high pitched voice. I thought her black eyeshadow looked rather (Bad) on her. Too tasteless.
Moving on, we went over to Changi Airport Terminal 3 whereby we sat down to watch the airplanes taking off and all this time chatting about relationships. Err... Maybe I really want to match make somebody de... (Laughs and I am not siao)
Went to eat Ya Kun Toast. Mei really dig in as well. Then it was here that I think, there seems to be an irony- I should be the one counselling her and yet, it looked like the total opposite because she looked so optimistic and I was like, wondering out the question in depth until it looked like I was crying.
About time to go back and ran into Mr Ng King Yong (Ex-D&T) teacher. He was walking towards us and I was once again thinking, "Look very familiar.." until mei cried out, "Isn't that Mr Ng King Kong."
He went, "Coral, right?" while I blurted out, "Who are you?" Even though I knew. Both of us whipped our head back while he was saying, "Your D&T teacher" and I stuck out my tongue(This seems to be my signature move de. Even in poly)
What a coincidence... running into so many people. Finally, we depart with me going off at Simei station and waiting for bus 5 again (I did not want to walk as usual). And with that, I conclude the day.
Then this morning, I saw Abby from 4/8 on bus 81 headed for Tampines JC. Lols... I keep meeting up with people one.The EIS test was difficult namely because the things I did not pay much attention to came out in the mark range of 10-20. Then the things I payed attention to when studying were pretty redundant.
And there was no MCQ at all. All along, I figured that I could write in note form but as per usual, I was never the type to take down notes anyway, so, in the end, the paper looked like another test essay for geography. There really was a part with reference to what Mrs Chee said previously, "Agglomeration is the area whereby all companies in the same industry stick to a certain place and make the place famous for certain products". And to think, EIS had a part in this too... I thankful to geography.
Then, as usual in QLA, the Linear part is always my downfall and yet it will appear as a compulsory question.(Is it me, or is it that all the subjects I am handy at always never seem to crop up?) Luckily this time, my Vogel Approximation method was right!(Happy look)
Then today, I went over to Eastpoint and saw the puppies. It always made me sigh, "Aww..." The only drawback here is that I am unable to find my favourite breed of dog. Anyway, so what if I did? I cannot buy it until I have my own house in future de.
I decided that I will have a dog! I am determined for it!!!
