Maths Carnival Day 1

Went to help (student helper) in the Maths Carnival 2009. Arrived early to collect the T-shirt(which, in my viewpoint, is really distasteful) and met up with the other 5. In all, there's 4 girls and 2 guys (Still not that good with names and all)

Mainly went to have lunch, I had bubor Hitam (It means 'Black porridge' in Malay). All the way there, the topic was on the Barley that Sushan (One of my classmates) bought. At first, most of us thought nothing about it but, once one starts, the whole topic becomes rather...

Barley drink has those black lines mixed in the drink- So, it is seen as a sperm drink which, Sushan actually believes that can be helpful to her complexion (Oh My God. Super diaos)

Went back to help in the booths and honestly, it was kinda fun to threaten and tease the Secondary students. I mean, it's so obvious that most of the students will only be there to fill in some form (The form that asks them to list down the Acroyms of the courses to earn a stamp. 4 stamp earns one a fondue (*marshmallows dipped in the fountain of chocolate*)

I went over to the ECE (Electronics and Computer Engineering) division to get acquainted with the students from BME(Biomedical Engineering- I think should rename the course because about 40% of the students come up to get the stamps stating BE).

Their games involved tic-tac toe and mastermind based on circuits. It was fun but Mastermind on the circuits... is like... And Yet one of the student from St Andrews managed to solve it. I was stunned...

Ahh.. Have to repeat it again and each session lasts for an hour. It's amusing that we also have to cheer... Crap la.

Oh my god, I met so many lecturers there, Ahh!!! I want to take the camera, sheesh. And another trade off, we are all munching away on the Mentos sweet without further do too.

That's just for the 1st day meaning that I have to do it again for 3 more days. At the least, I am wasting my time in a good sense.

The only Secondary school I can remember is that of Tanglin Secondary due to their cheering. Very impactful. I mean, they kept screaming and screaming... At least none from my school can already.

I also realised that kids these days LOVE to take pictures of themselves, especially with our display. They even did those adorable post whereby I just watched from the stand and helped the other crowding students.

Naturally, I am super quiet in this case as per usual, I mean, I don't have to gatecrash the whole thing, right?
