Maths Carnival Day 2
This time round it was the usual except I managed to stuff myself with a helping of the cream puff as well as chicken wings. What? I was bored plus the announcement was that student helpers could help themselves to the buffet table before the event started. Although, I was there during the event.
Anyway, I finally got to eat the fondue only to end up being photographed gulping down the marshmallow coated with the sticky and creamy chocolate sauce in one bite. That photographer lecturer will never delete the picture one la, as far as I know.
Sure will be published on some web page. Making matters worse, was my uncle who had seen the picture going, "Oh, this is good." Thanks ah.
This time round, I was moving all over the convention hall and eating the sweets too. When you are bored, you really amuse yourself with all the trivial things. That's what I think anyway.
Which reminds me that Secondary school kids can be really cute too. I mean, they can all be shy, I mean the guys too, but once they entered polytechnics, they all turn bold and start being outgoing.
Oh yea, there was also a game whereby a microphone will measure your sound volume(in dB-decibels). The idea was to whistle(or make noises audible enough to be recorded in cases where people can't whistle-Like me)
Only that it ended up becoming the center of attention because instead of whistling, it became shouting. One would have thought we are having some haunted House Fiesta or something. Can't take it in a enclosed room.
Then of all accidents, I happened to be near the booth then when the current Mecee's in training came over to ask for an introduction to the booth. I was passed the mic so I just did some brief introduction before passing it back to the mecee. Morale: Wrong place wrong time, test of flexibility.
2 more days... Hmm, seems pretty fast a way to waste time. What can I say, I still have some time before the new term comes about and all... Is there anything I can do?
