Maths Carnival Day 3
Hmm, I did not have any fire red shirt and so, it was so nice of Larry to lend an extra one to me. The day kicked off with little energy, until my turn to host (I think?) Even Max was wondering if it was Joanne who was hosting when I stepped on the floor and she had to explain otherwise.
Hmm, Fondue~ my fave! I wanted to eat more too.
Did the usual of poking and seeing around. It was quite memorable as I noticed and waved to one of the student I was teasing earlier.
At the end of the day, as usual, the comments I received included, "Vivian, you did a fabulous job today," Moral: 人不可貌相. It's so true.
And before the whole event, he went, "You don't give off the vibe of an party animal so I pair you up with someone who has the looks of one"Ironically, I turned out to be the one overshadowing the 'ideal party animal'. Opps. Just so naturally easy.
I repeat, since when was I a quiet girl anyway? Ok la, About 99% of all people just chance a glance at me and go, Oh she's quiet," Lols, but I also naturally reverted back to being a 'blur queen' and somewhat like a naive idiot who answers, "Oh. Thanks."
I am not used to the microphone and so, my voice range from audible to very audible. I also need to be mindful of the speakers and all.
Getting a lot of those cheap(hiccups) gifts from the school. Well, not say cheap more like functional stationary and staff.
Which reminds me that when we had to announce the prize booth, I added, "That's right. It's 50% off, Hurry! Chiong ah." And after seeing the students rushing over, "And please be careful, I know you are excited but we do not want any accidents here. Thank you."
Now I think I have a sore throat. Crap. Cannot be triggered by the fondue~ I am looking forward to it de ah.
Ah, also saw the slides that showed the Wuhan Trip we had. I realised, as I saw the videos that I really missed that place and time we spent there. Mr Wong was also supervising the area and he's not the only familiar authoritative figure I keep running into though.
