Last Lesson for IS module
For me at least. My peers all have another one after after the first one.
Anyway, on the last day, which is yesterday on the 25th November, I turned up to school on time and waited for the others and the slides to arrive. Then the lecturer arrived and ordered pizza after some discussions.
Wow, another IS module that includes celebration of Pizza, this is like, my second time already. Not that I am complaining about the food.
We presented as the second last group and yet Christina was going, "This group is good. The slides flow in order and the materials are with me. I am giving it out as a sample so all of you read it."
Then halfway through, she asked, "Who did the slides?" We all looked at each other and well, one of us HAD to say it was group work ah? Not like that mattered and all. (FYI: I did the searching and analysis of the slides for the 4 ads, Chong Sian contributed his laptop, Xin xin gave an ad and Peixin and Amanda editted what I wrote and added the new ad inside)
That's really group work alright. All last minute do one. Then another group member, Laura did not turn up so the work load was divided among us. Hope she's ok though.
Well, to be honest, the whole slide thing was done as last minute's work and yet, when the lecturer was saying this is the 'best' slide in the class, I was laughing silently. Yea right. All last minute also consider to be good... Wkakaka
Went back to slack and discuss on the upcoming DOES stuff. Crap. Should just drop this module. I mean, no point though because only left this semester and we are done. I keep wondering how on earth did I sit through this 'extra' programs in the past.
Crap. My brother's birthday is coming soon in 4 days and I don't have a present for him. I really suck in these things.
Can't wait to get rid of this e-learning. Thank god it's drawing to a close. If any pandemic were to hit Singapore again, this time, I swear, I rather re-take the module then go through e-learning week.
Last time I was forgiving of SARS virus because I was still in Primary school when it hits, primary school then when did we have E-learning? (Primary 6 then but who bothers)
E-learning is good because you get to stay at home and stuff but it is NOT good when one has to rush blindly onto the discussion boards without knowing when to log on and also, all the modules have the same deadline so talk about stress.
Another stress factor is that people will still ask you about the timings and stuff because they are too mixed up with the other modules. And I have also been on he receiving and asking end.
In short, since the cons outweigh the pros, all I can say is that E-learning is a 'PAIN IN THE A**' thing. It's all done via 'softcopying' and honestly, I suck at it too.
E-learning week is more like Execution week instead. It is not Exciting nor Exhilarating for me at all. It's an Enormous task that has to be Ended at all cost and as soon as possible.
Ok. Long weekend ahead. What's the difference anyway since we all have to go to school eventually...
