Another Day
Well, for today, the day has been spent with me and dad just heading for lunch at the 老地方 (in Sempang Bedok there. Again don't judge the spelling lol) whereby we just had roti prata. All the time, we were discussing about what is the best thing to do for bro to recover during this period.
I also went grocery shopping with dad before en-routing over to Singapore Expo to check out the electronics section while I went for the BORDERS clearance book sales whereby all books were just going for $2. Lols. I grabbed about 3 books. What? I think it was well worth the money spent ma. I spent only like 6 bucks sia.
Then the rest of the day was spent looking at the electronic gadgets and then to finally pick up grandmother from her Chai Chee Flat.
When we arrived, we were greeted with a trolley of foodstuff plus some more plastic bags that she needed help with. In the end, we just 打包鸡饭 for dinner.
There's just somany issues that concerns the future that cannot be done right now in the situation with majority of the reasons being my brother.
The interim hospital bill alone he's raked up is worth 13,000 already. With that kind of money, frankly, it would have been worth an overseas student's living expenses for a few months already. And the best part is that he's not even recovered 100% hor.
Seeing the hospital bills eating away the money really is like just damn frustrating, for the want of a better word ba. It just compounds to the situation because bro thinks that him staying there is free one.
